Trotec Luminat is an aqueous dispersion that can be diluted with water, but does not metabolize and leaves practically no visible traces in the visible wavelength range.

The formaldehyde-free fluorescent pigments of this tracer are only stimulated to maximum fluorescence and become intensely luminous when exposed to UV light in the optimum wavelength range.

To ensure that users have the optimum UV fluorescent dye with the most suitable luminosity for every task, Trotec Luminat is now available in four bright colors: Luminat Red, Luminat Blue and Luminat Purple in addition to the established Luminat Green version.

Luminat is particularly suitable for leak tests on water-bearing levels of flat roofs or for checking gullies and downpipes. The fluorescent material can be detected and made visible at its exit points under UV light.

Trotec Luminat can also be used in non-destructive material testing (NDT) and in leak detection where capillary penetration is not important and no visible traces of the UV tracer should remain.

Important: Luminate is not suitable as a food dye!
