Product Description for 15-Piece Stone Drill Set
Unlike metal or wood, hard materials such as granite, concrete or masonry stone can not be easily cut by drills. For this reason, special stone drills are required, whose tips crush the material.
With the professional stone drill set from Trotec you are optimally equipped for this purpose because all 15 included stone spiral drills have a hard-wearing carbide tip with 89 HRC hardness and a dulled cutting edge to achieve fast drilling progress even in hard materials. This means that many dowels can be set quickly by the hand, while the high accuracy of the Trotec quality drill ensures precise dowel holes. The asymmetrical spiral shape of the drills also ensures optimum drill dust removal.
Because the drills are made entirely of durable, high-strength carbon steel in industrial quality according to ISO 5468, they also have very good durability after many drilling operations. Thanks to cylindrical shafts, they can also be combined with all common drills and hammer drilling machines.
