Room air purifier TAC V+ stainless steel
High-frequency zone air purifier for efficient reduction of suspended particles and aerosol clouds in the direct installation environment
The zone air purifier TAC V+ reduces the dwell time and intensity of aerosol and suspended matter clouds directly at the installation site
The zone air purifier TAC V+ is an innovative solution for establishing clean air zones low in viruses and pollutants wherever they are needed - power supply is sufficient. Wherever this mobile air purifier is placed, it creates a "clean zone area" of up to 320 cubic metres volume flushed with clean, filtered clean air, depending on the required air exchange rate.
In this treatment zone, the ambient air remains largely free of germs, fine dust or other airborne micro-particles, because the TAC V+ enables the large-volume intake of contaminated room air with effective H14-HEPA high-performance filtration and flexibly adjustable flushing of the zone, free of aerosol particles.
In combination with the integrated F7 pre-filter system, the Trotec H14-HEPA high-performance filter guarantees reliable separation of airborne germs, viruses and of dust, bacteria, spores or microfibres from paper such as textiles.
Stainless steel version for hygiene-sensitive areas of the food industry
Especially for use in meat processing and food production, the TAC V+ high-performance air cleaner is optionally available in a stainless steel version, which is ideal for use in areas with specific hygiene requirements or particularly reactive air environments.
The stainless steel housing is easy to clean and made of the material 1.4301, which has a very high corrosion resistance and is particularly resistant to various chemical solutions.
Infectious aerosols - risk factor for the meat industry
Many experts agree that in the case of corona outbreaks in the meat industry, it is mainly the low temperatures required for meat cooling as well as aerosols, in which substances are transferred via the air, that can be the cause of rapid virus spread.
As a result, infectious aerosol particles sometimes float for up to several hours in the room air in the cutting area, which has cooled to 6 to 10 °C, due to their small size. They would be permanently moved around in the room by the ventilation system - and thus continuously inhaled! This finding coincides with other studies, which also suggest that viruses may be emitted into the environment in the form of aerosol clouds, especially when speaking, and may remain in the air for hours.
The problem is in the air, its solution also
If virus-carrying aerosols are suspended in the ambient air of meat-cutting areas or other working environments of meat-processing plants, there is an increased risk of infection. Viruses do not adhere to distance rules and also easily overcome physical barriers such as partition walls. If the ambient air can be kept free of viruses, the aerogenic risk of infection is also reduced.
Play it safe with high-frequency air purification
Trotec promotes aerosol control in indoor air as a decisive measure right from the start and, as the first address for professional air treatment solutions, can therefore also offer you the first highly effective air cleaning device with high-performance air filters and integrated virus decontamination!
Virus-free air reduces the aerogenic risk of infection to zero
If the room air can be kept largely free of germs and viruses, then the aerogenic risk of infection in endangered work zones in the meat and food industry is also minimized.
Our high-frequency air purifiers such as the TAC V+ were developed precisely for this task, because they effectively and quickly reduce the dwell time and intensity of aerosol and suspended matter clouds in closed rooms, thus creating an environment with greatly reduced risk of infection for all employees.
Exterminate aerosol clouds within minutes via high-performance air filtration
At the installation site, the mobile high-frequency air purifier creates a clean "clean zone area" flushed with virus-filtered clean air. In this zone, the ambient air remains largely free of airborne germs and viruses, because the TAC V+ enables the large-volume intake of contaminated room air with effective H14-HEPA high-performance air filtration and a flexibly adjustable zone flushing with virus-filtered clean air, free of aerosol particles.
Even a downstream supply of this room air to existing ventilation systems for cooling and dehumidifying the air no longer poses a risk of virus spreading, because if the supplied air has already been virus-filtered, no more viruses can be spread via air conditioning systems.
High-performance air cleaning works exactly where the greatest danger lurks
In the meat industry, the coronavirus spreads mainly via the air in the room. The reason for this is the air conditioning customary in the industry. The room air in the production areas is usually only cooled down and dehumidified, but in recirculation mode - no fresh air is supplied. In addition, most plants do not have high-performance filtration. As soon as infectious viruses are present at only one point in the room, then circulating air conditioning and the lack of virus filtration quickly cause a room-filling distribution of infectious viruses through the air in the entire work area.
Without virus no virus spreading, in principle quite simple
If it were possible to keep the air in the room free of viruses, the aerogenic risk of infection would also be minimized. Even a downstream cooling, dehumidification and re-introduction of this air would then be risk-free, because the viruses would already have been filtered out of the air beforehand.
Trotec high-frequency air cleaners such as the TAC V+ have been developed precisely for this task, because they effectively and quickly reduce the dwell time and intensity of aerosol and suspended matter clouds in closed rooms, thus creating a working environment with a greatly reduced risk of infection for all employees.
High-performance air filtration enables virus-free work zones
The mobile air purifier TAC V+ creates a clean "clean zone area" directly at its installation site, flushed with virus-filtered clean air.
This clean air can then also be fed safely into the company's internal ventilation system for cooling and dehumidification. Since the air supplied in this way is already practically virus-free, the dehumidified cooling air can be reintroduced into the room without risk.
Effective against bacteria and virus conglomerates
Trotec high-frequency air cleaners are equipped with high-performance HEPA filters of class H14, which separate more than 99.995% of all fine suspended particles larger than 0.1 µm and have a transmission factor of only 0.005%. Or to put it differently: Out of 100,000 particles, a maximum of only five pass through the H14 high-performance air filter.
Thanks to this first-class feature, such high-performance filters are also used in operating theatres for clean air production and in comparably hygiene-sensitive areas. These are the best prerequisites for reliably keeping room and breathing air free of viruses in slaughterhouses, cutting plants and other closely occupied working areas of the meat processing industry in times of rampant epidemics.
Well-known virus strains such as SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV or Covid-19 have a particle size of 0.005 µm to 0.1 µm. Usually combined with other particles, such as saliva, suspended solids etc., they form conglomerates with a size between 0.4 µm and 0.5 µm. These conglomerates are also called germs and are reliably separated by the Trotec H14 high-performance air purification filters.
Neutralize virulent aerosol clouds directly in the working zone
The TAC V+ can effectively clear the ambient air in employees' work areas of virus-carrying aerosols. This high-frequency air purifier filters the aerosols out of the room air with a high recirculation rate in a very short time and, as a result, permanently flushes the areas with large quantities of virus-free room air, which significantly reduces the risk of infection in the treated zones.
Worldwide unique filter decontamination
This clean air performance is made possible by a synchronous system of efficient pre-filtration and final HEPA filtration using an integrated Trotec H14-HEPA high-performance air filter in a special heat-resistant design. The special filter used in the TAC V+ not only reliably retains 99.995% of all aerosol particles larger than 0.1 µm, which means that out of 100,000 particles a maximum of only five pass through the H14 filter, as is standard practice in high-performance filtration in operating theatres, for example - unlike such applications, however, the H14 high-performance air filter from Trotec in the TAC V+ is additionally heated cyclically, which inactivates all the viruses separated in the filter and thus "decontaminates" the filter 100% again.
This thermal self-regeneration function of the H14 special filter is unique worldwide and only available from Trotec! Thanks to this unique combination of filter and decontamination technology, the TAC V+ safely reduces the airborne risk of infection in all vulnerable work zones - ideal for slaughterhouses and other critical meat processing production areas.
Effective HEPA filtering according to the highest quality requirements, which are obligatory for bacteria and virus filtering:
- Each H14 high performance air filter is individually tested and provided with its own serial number
- The test report is enclosed with every H14 high performance air filter in duplicate as a certificate
- The original test certificate can be filed in the documents - and the copy can be attached to the air purifier as required
- H14-HEPA high performance air filters from Trotec are tested according to EN 1822 and EN 60335-2-69
Some of many convincing equipment advantages of the TAC V+
Simple operation: Commissioning the TAC V+ requires only a few steps. Timer, operating hours counter, filter level warning indicators and operating switches are installed in shockproof design.
