IDS 900 High Output Indirect Heater
The most powerful indirect oil heating units in the IDS Series are designed especially to heat halls or different numbers of rooms. The units are all equipped with a streaming-optimised stainless steel furnace chamber for a higher level of efficiency.
Professional oil heater fan IDS 900 for clean heat on site
The most powerful oil heater model in the IDS series was specially designed for heating individual halls or several rooms and is equipped with a flow-optimized combustion chamber made of heat-resistant stainless steel and a particularly powerful axial fan whose seven-blade impeller provides high air throughput and static pressure for homogeneous diffusion of the warm air guaranteed by the jacket. This combination enables the IDS 900 to achieve a thermal efficiency of 93%.
The compact trolley construction consists of a robust, epoxy-coated steel frame with a double-walled housing for optimal soundproofing and insulation, which means that the device operates comfortably quietly, with a noise emission of just under 67db at 2 meters away.
In favor of maximum flexibility of use, the oil heater fan IDS 900 is delivered without an integrated fuel tank, which is why an external tank is required for automatic continuous heating, to which the single-line heating system of the IDS 900 can be connected using a quick-release coupling.
As an alternative to supplying fuel from an external tank, an optional oil tank with a capacity of 208 liters is also available as an accessory for the IDS 900, as well as oil preheating.
IDS indirect oil heater fan - maximum heating power, clean warmth
The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideal for rooms where only limited ventilation is possible, but which should nevertheless be used by people and animals. They are also a good choice for accelerating the drying of buildings and in rooms where there is a risk of fire due to the presence of combustible materials.
In principle, the combustion process is the same as that of the IDS direct oil heater fan: The fuel is sucked out of the tank by a pump, brought to operating pressure, then sprayed into the combustion chamber as an air-fuel mixture via an atomizer nozzle and burned there. However, with indirect heaters, the air to be heated is completely separated from the combustion chamber.
In the case of indirect oil heater fans, the air intended for heating is sucked in by the same fan as is the combustion air, but is then routed separately past the enlarged surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, in order to be able to heat up without being mixed with the exhaust air . While the products of combustion are discharged to the outside through a chimney, 100% exhaust-free hot air escapes through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.
In order to gain clean and at the same time dry heat, the use of indirect oil heater fans is recommended. In contrast to direct heaters, neither combustion products nor released water vapor get into the room air, as long as a suitable exhaust gas discharge has been attached to the chimney of the device, which directs the exhaust gases outside of the room to be heated.
The IDS 900 offers a wide range of possible applications
The combination of a mobile chassis design and a maximum nominal heat output of 217 kW makes the IDS 900 indirect oil heater fan a versatile heating solution for a wide variety of applications, for example:
- Spot heating of workplaces outdoors and on winter construction sites
- heating of livestock stalls
- Warming of workshops, warehouses, workshops, storage rooms
- Heating and ventilation of tent and exhibition events
- Warming of greenhouses
For interior heating, the exhaust air from the oil heater can be removed from the room by attaching an exhaust pipe to the chimney of the IDS 900 and leading it to the outside. If necessary, the combustion air can also be supplied to the burner from outside by installing piping to the outside at the combustion air inlet so that fresh air is sucked in and the oxygen content in the room is not reduced.
Instead of large-volume air heating, the IDS 900 oil heater fan also enables spot heating using a hot-air hose on the integrated hose connector. A two-way hose distributor for simultaneous spot heating of two workstations is also available as an accessory, as is a four-way hose adapter for simultaneous spot heating of four workstations.
