Whether at home or in the office - when it gets hot again in spring and summer, you can use the PAE 12 evaporative air cooler to create a refreshingly cool breeze in a natural way and completely without chemical refrigerants. Even more: the compact 3-in-1 combination device works as a fan, air cooler and air humidifier as required.
Optimal climate through evaporative air cooling, ventilation and air humidification
The oppressive summer heat out, the room climate to breathe deeply with cooling refreshment in - and all this very easily and reliably thanks to natural evaporative cooling based on the honeycomb filter principle (honeycomb technology). The 'Aircooler' has a 3 liter water tank and creates an air throughput of 90 m³ per hour. With a humidification output of max.0.46 liters per hour, the device can produce fresh and cool air for more than 6 hours in continuous operation with just one tank filling. A level indicator on the device always informs you about the current water tank content. If desired, the cooling effect can also be enhanced with the cooling packs included in the scope of delivery or with ice cubes.
Even without the air cooling function switched on, the PAE 12 can be used as a full-fledged 'fan' . The fan speed can be regulated in 3 stages and its vertical discharge direction can be flexibly adjusted via the ventilation flaps. For an even distribution of the cooling air flow throughout the room, you can switch on an automatic swivel movement (swing mode) of the vertical air guide blades. The integrated natural wind mode gently increases and decreases the airflow, creating the impression of a pleasant sea breeze. With the easily removable air filter, lint, animal hair and flakes of dust are caught from the room air.
The PAE 12 is also recommended for 'air humidification' . In the cold season it helps against dry heating air and thus protects your respiratory tract and mucous membranes from drying out and being more susceptible to viruses and pathogens.
The device can be switched to a whisper-quiet night mode so that you can sleep well through the night. Of course, all functions can be set both on the control panel on the device and conveniently using the infrared remote control. In addition, the Aircooler is equipped with a timer function that enables the planned shutdown. The Aircooler PAE 12 is ideally suited for use in rooms up to 15 m² or 37 m³ and offers an attractive and modern look. Swing function
The automatic swing function ensures room-filling air circulation. The vertical air deflectors automatically pivot (oscillate) from left to right so that the blown air is optimally distributed in the room. The horizontal discharge height of the air flow can also be adjusted manually.
Gentle natural wind mode
In natural wind mode, the PAE 12 cools with increasing and decreasing ventilation intensity, comparable to a refreshing sea breeze on the beach. The gentle gusts of wind are particularly pleasant on the skin and are a good alternative to the continuous flow of air.
Timer function
The practical 8-hour timer enables the device to be switched off individually after a preset time. In the office, for example, you can ensure that the air cooler switches off automatically at the end of the day.
Night mode
So that you can fall asleep and sleep through the night with pleasant cooling, the air cooler has a night mode with gradual reduction of the ventilation strength. You fall asleep with pleasant air cooling and the body recovers optimally from the exertions of the day even on hot summer nights. Air filter against animal hair, dust and lint in the room air
The air filter integrated on the back catches animal hair, lint and flakes of dust from the room air. This enables allergy sufferers and people with sensitive airways to breathe easier and breathe more freely. The easily removable filter can be quickly cleaned by wiping or rinsing.
Naturally effective cooling principle
In contrast to air conditioning units, no chemical refrigerants are used in air coolers. The cooling process takes place in a completely natural way. In addition, neither an exhaust air hose is required, nor are complex installations required.
A mobile air cooler works on the principle of natural evaporative cooling. You know this from your own experience: if you blow on damp skin, you feel an immediate cooling, as the evaporation process draws heat. It is the same with air coolers or air coolers: inside the air cooler there is a filter mat soaked with water. The warm air is directed from the back of the device through the wet filter mat and is cooled down by evaporation. The now cooler air is then blown into the room by a fan.

Increasing the humidity to 50% reduces the risk of virus transmission
Specialists have evaluated research results on the resistance of viruses (e.g. SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), influenza) and humidity. It turned out that the air humidity has serious effects on the infectivity of germ droplets. Dry room air with a relative humidity of less than 40% allows tiny droplets that are contaminated with flu or cold viruses to dry up. This preserves pathogens and remains infectious for a very long time. In the optimal range of 40 to 60% relative humidity, aerosols only shrink to such an extent that the salt concentration in the aerosol core increases, so that the germs and microorganisms contained therein are killed. The risk of getting infected with flu and cold viruses is minimized here.
The specialists emphasise that we can reduce the risk of infection by increasing the humidity in buildings. Raising the air humidity through humidification to around 50% leads to a reduction in the risk of transmission. In addition, the humidified air improves the body's defenses by cleaning the airways more efficiently and promoting the immune system. In modern buildings with a tight building envelope, central heating and ventilation systems, these limit values can often not be observed in everyday life without active air humidification. The easy-to-read digital display shows you the current indoor temperature (in °C or °F), humidity (in %), date, day of the week and time in large digital digits. For an optimum feel-good climate and to prevent mould
The right temperature and optimally regulated humidity are decisive factors for a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. Both too high and too low climate values noticeably impair our well-being. It is therefore worth keeping an eye on temperature and humidity with the BZ06 thermohygrometer to regulate them to the optimum range with a dehumidifier, humidifier or an adapted heating capacity or cooling, depending on how you feel.
A positive side effect: transparent room climate data is the first step towards reducing expensive energy costs. Every degree of room temperature saved reduces energy consumption by approx. 6% and thus also your heating bill. And permanently too high humidity promotes the formation of mould in the room. Here, too, the percentage values should be kept in mind in order to be able to take measures in time and prevent health hazards.
We feel most comfortable within a climate corridor of 20 to 22 °C at 40 to 60 % relative humidity (comfort diagram according to Leusden and Freymark)
Climate conditions outside these values are perceived as unpleasant by most people. In addition, too high humidity can cause a wide range of damage. The BZ06 thermohygrometer measures the current room temperature and relative humidity every 20 seconds. The temperature measuring range is from -10 °C to +50 °C. The relative humidity is measured from 20% RH to 99% RH. With the integrated MIN/MAX function, the instrument memorizes the lowest and highest values. In this way you can find out whether there were any undesirable deviations, for example at night or during your holiday. At the touch of a button you can call up the maximum or minimum values or reset them again if necessary.
Sunshine in sight? Symbolic weather trend display
Use the BZ06's graphically designed weather trend display as an additional source of weather information. A forecast is generated based on the humidity values. With one glance at the large LCD display, you will know directly whether it will be sunny, slightly cloudy, cloudy or rainy in the form of 4 appealing weather symbols.
Digital alarm clock with snooze function
For use in the bedroom, an alarm clock function is integrated into the otherwise completely silent BZ06. The time can be displayed in both 24-hour and 12-hour format. Do you have trouble getting out of bed in the morning? One press of the Snooze button is all it takes to stay in bed for 4 more minutes before the next beep sounds. And when the weather forecast promises sunshine, you start the day with much more motivation! If desired, an audio signal can also be set to indicate every full hour. By the way, if you don't want to have the time permanently in view, you can simply switch to calendar mode. The display field of the clock will now permanently show you the current year.
