The matching screwdriver with ratchet function is also included in this set. The bits are attached to the ratchet screwdriver by means of the supplied adapter. The sockets can either be plugged directly onto the screwdriver or, for extension, onto a 5 cm long adapter. Depending on the desired attachment, the individual elements can be easily combined by means of a quick plug connection. The two adapters and the square head of the ratchet screwdriver are equipped with a spring-loaded ball bearing for a particularly secure hold of the bits and sockets.
Screwdrivers with ratchet function - compact and ingenious
In order to always exert an optimal power transmission when screwing screws in or out, the ratchet handle can be set to the three settings "clockwise", "counterclockwise" and "locking" for screwing, unscrewing or locking. The fold-out aluminium handle allows different grip positions for best possible working comfort. All in all, the stable housing of the 40-piece set ensures perfect order and can be carried in the tool case or hung on the tool wall to save space.

Slotted bits (SL4, SL5, SL6) for slotted screws
Screws with a slot offer only a relatively low power transmission and are therefore mainly used in soft materials such as wood. In order to avoid slipping or damaging the workpiece by a bit tip that is too large, the width of the slotted bit should fit exactly with the screw head.
Cross profile bits (Phillips PH1, PH2, PH3) and Pozidriv bits (PZ1, PZ2, PZ3) for Phillips screws
The cross profile results in twice as much power transmission compared to a simple slotted screw and also reduces the risk of slipping. The Pozidriv profile with 4 additional notches offset diagonally by 45° has even better properties in this respect. Phillips and Pozidriv screws can be found, for example, in electrical appliances, on bicycles and motorcycles or in cabinet hinges.
INBUS External hexagon bits (H4, H5) for hexagon socket screws
The matching hexagon socket screws (also called INBUS screws) are well suited for screw connections where the screw heads are difficult to access due to the design. They are often found, for example, on motorcycles, bicycles, machines or even when assembling furniture.
TORX hexagon socket bits (T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40) for Torx screws
Screws with a so-called hexagon socket drive have the shape of a six-pointed star with rounded corners in the head. Torx screws offer two decisive advantages compared to slotted or cross-head screws: Firstly, hardly any contact pressure is required thanks to the six "points of application" and secondly, high torques are transmitted. As a result, the screw material is almost not worn out at all and the possibility of slipping is greatly minimized. Torx screws are used in electronic devices, among other things.
Twelve-point sockets (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 mm) for hexagon and square-head screws
The socket wrenches supplied with the tool are suitable for both hexagon nuts and square nuts. Thanks to the twelve-sided receptacle, twice as many insertion positions are possible with hexagon head screws, so that the socket does not have to be turned as far when space is particularly limited. Hexagon screws ensure firm connections in wood or metal thanks to high power transmission. They are mainly used where loosening or retightening of the screws may be necessary more often.
Rotary screwdriver with ratchet function
Despite its compact dimensions, the enclosed screwdriver convinces with optimal handling characteristics. The semicircular, metallic-red handle can be folded out by 90° for different grip positions. Due to the ergonomically shaped finger recesses you always have a firm and secure grip for best power transmission. The direction of rotation can be changed from left to right with a switch in the ratchet ring. Complete locking is also possible. The ratchet has 48 teeth and offers a minimum return angle of only 7.5°, so that you can still make rotary movements even in tight places.
Bit adapter 1/4" inner square to 1/4" inner hexagon
To use the bits with the ratchet screwdriver, simply plug in the 2.5 cm long bit adapter. With this adapter not only the 28 bits included in the delivery can be connected, but also other attachments with matching 1/4" hexagon drive that you already have. The spring-loaded ball bearing integrated in the hexagon socket of the adapter ensures a reliable and firm hold of the bits.
5 cm long socket adapter from 1/4" inner square to 1/4" outer square
In order to reach lower-lying hexagon nuts, simply plug the 5 cm socket adapter onto the ratchet screwdriver to extend it. In addition to the 9 sockets included in the scope of delivery, you can also attach further attachments from your toolbox with a suitable 1/4" square drive to the adapter. The spring-loaded ball bearing integrated in the outer square head ensures a reliable and firm hold of the plug-in connection.
